HoN Hero Spotlight: Riftwalker

HoN  Riftwalker Guide:-

Introduction:

The Riftwalker is a unique hero that can initiate on an enemy team without the assistance of a Portal Key. Both inside and outside of a teamfight, the rest of Riftwalker's abilities give her great utility in a supporting role.

Strategy :

Riftwalker benefits greatly in lane from any other hero that has a slow or stun to combo into Shared Existence and Cascade Event.

What you skill depends on who you are against. For damage, skilling Rift Burn to the max gives the best output. If you need to control your lane more, Shared Existence or Cascade Event are much more appealing to level up instead.

As you progress into the midgame, remember how powerful Wormhole is to the team. Using this well from a far range can turn the tide of a fight very easily.

As you get gold, you can funnel it into team items like Tablet or Astrolabe instead of worrying about getting a Portal Key. An aura such as Nome's Wisdom or Frostfield can be incredibly powerful since Wormhole moves you into the middle of the battle.

Late game be careful not to get picked off, as you will die quickly. Abuse the range of Cascade Event and Wormhole to help your team in a fight at every opportunity.

    HoN Wildsoul Guide:-

    Introduction:

This guide is more for a carry Wildsoul. You can either jungle, lane, or solo with the build but will be more focused on laning. It is recommended to not lane in the lane farther from your tower.

    Strategy :

Start with Iron Buckler on Booboo. Using your hero and the bear, focus on last hitting for the first few levels. If your micro is up to par you can harass with your bear while your hero last hits. Hitting level 3 gives you some killing potential with Entangling Claws on Booboo. Always play as if you won't proc an entangle because your primary goal is to get to Mock of Brilliance, not to take risks.

An early Mock of Brilliance on Booboo can easily take out heroes with low HP during mid game. Using Booboo + Mock is also a good strategy to kill Portal Key teams. Don't only farm, look for opportunities to pick off buildings if the enemy is out of position! If you had a hard time farming in lane it is recommended you hop between your jungle and ancients to farm.

Late game is where Wildsoul should really shine. If the enemy team is still weak I would build up Booboo

      HoN Moon Queen Guide:-

      Introduction:

Moon Queen is a carry hero with strong early game ganking ability. Her Moon Beam and Moon Finale allow her to put out great single target damage in the early to mid game and her Multi-Strike and Lunar Glow give her great carry potential.

      Strategy :

Moon Queen, being both a strong carry and early game ganker, can be laned or soloed effectively.

Her Moon Beams not only have good damage, but they also stun for a small duration and have a large cast range, making them very versatile. It is important to remember that if you are alone with another enemy hero, Moon Finale will focus all of the Moon Beams on the single enemy. This makes it a very strong solo killing tool.

Multi-Strike is a great farming tool as it hits multiple targets and can even bounce off of buildings. However, you will generally want to avoid this skill early on, as it will unfavorably push a lane away from your tower, thereby putting you in a vulnerable position.

Moon Queen should be played as a roaming ganker once she gets Moon Finale, and should farm as much as possible to be able to carry late game. Because a significant portion of her damage output comes from her spells, focusing on building survivability with items is key.

      HoN Hero Spotlight Swiftblade

      HoN Swiftblade Guide:-

      Introduction:

Swiftblade has low hit points but is still able to dish out a large amount of damage especially to heroes who are alone. Positioning is key as you will be looking for moments to jump on target and then get out. This makes movespeed bonuses exceptionally good.

Swiftblade is best played with a ranged partner. He fulfills the hard carry role..

      Strategy :

Early game is crucial to any Swiftblade player. Blade Frenzy does an amazing amount of damage but also has a large manacost and cooldown. Having a teammate with a disable can assist you in maximizing your damage output since you can attack while using Blade Frenzy. Stats are recommended early on to allow easier usage of both Swift Slashes and Blade Frenzy when you hit level 6.

After laning look for lone enemy heroes. Try to separate one using Blade Frenzy and then quickly follow up with Swift Slashes as they are running. Getting Ghost Marchers helps a lot in this process since it allows you to quickly get to a target.

Getting to Runed Cleaver allows you to farm a lot faster and not have to use Blade Frenzy when farming lots of creeps.

Late game will require a Shrunken Head. Blade Frenzy does make you magic immune it is normally no longer able to kill heroes at this point. Still look for heroes without creep support to maximize Swift Slashes and don't neglect lifesteal options.
