HoN Gunblade background story:-

Gunblade is a ranged agility carry who benefits from being close to his targets. He may be effectively placed solo or in a dual lane.

Gunblade excels at singling out a single target and bursting them down with terrifying amounts of physical damage!

1.  Crippling Slugs

• Type: Physical
• Range: 700
• Cast Time: 0.4 Seconds
• Mana Cost: 100
• Cooldown: 12.0 Seconds
• Required Level: 1 / 3 / 5 / 7

Activation
Target a location to quickly fire three Slugs in that direction. Each Slug deals 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 Physical Damage and applies a stacking 8 / 11 / 14 / 17% Movement Speed Slow to all enemies hit.

 2.  Demonic Shield

• Type: Magic
• Cast Time: 0.2 Seconds
• Mana Cost: 65
• Cooldown: 18.0 Seconds
• Required Level: 1 / 3 / 5 / 7

Activation
Activate to grant yourself a Shield that absorbs Damage equal to 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 + 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 * Agility.

Shield lasts 8 seconds and grants 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 Movement Speed while active.

3.  Lethal Range

Required Level: 1 / 3 / 5 / 7

Activation
Passively grants bonus attack damage based on how close you are to your target. Bonus Damage goes up to 30 / 40 / 50 / 60% of your Base Damage if you are 200 units or closer to your target, tapering off to 0% at 600 units.

Only works on Heroes.

 leaves 1 corpse at target's feet.  

4.  Grappling Shot

• Type: Magic
• Range: 500 / 600 / 700
• Cast Time: 0.6 Seconds
• Mana Cost: 100 / 125 / 150
• Cooldown: 90.0 / 75.0 / 60.0 Seconds
• Required Level: 6 / 11 / 16  

Activation
Target an enemy hero to deal 100 / 200 / 300 Magic Damage and launch yourself on top of them, Stunning them for 1 Second. Launches up to 500 / 600 / 700 Units and applies -3 / 5 / 7 Armor to them for 5 seconds after cast.

Introduction:  

Gunblade is a ranged agility carry who benefits from being close to his targets. He may be effectively placed solo or in a dual lane.

Gunblade excels at singling out a single target and bursting them down with terrifying amounts of physical damage!

Strategy :  

Gunblade starts the game by maxing his Crippling Slugs. This ability does Physical Damage so it is extremely strong in the early game when enemy heroes normally don't have high Armor.

One point is put into Lethal Range early to give your auto attacks a little more punch against enemy heroes.

Demonic Shield should be maxed second, as it will allow you to close the gap between you and your target as well as get you out of tough situations with the damage absorption.

Gunblade uses his Grappling Shot to initiate fights and reduce his target's armor. Right after using Grappling shot, use Crippling Slugs to keep your target close to you. Between Crippling Slugs' physical damage and Lethal Range's bonus attack damage, a target with reduced armor will drop very easily!

Gunblade excels with an Assassins' Shroud, allowing him to get into Lethal Range and burst his target down.

Building Agility with Gunblade helps greatly, as his Lethal Range bonus damage scales with base damage.
